About Atmesfir

Atmesfir, a dream brought to life by Chef Paul Moskovich, a passionate culinary artist unbound. Nestled in the heart of Prescott, Arizona, Atmesfir opened its doors in 2016 and quickly became known as the town's best-kept secret for fine dining—Prescott style.

How it Started

Chef Paul's love for cooking began at a young age. At just 10 years old, he started preparing brunch for his family to escape Sunday church services. This early passion for cooking grew as he trained at La Cordon Bleu Pasadena, honing his skills in high-end catering and working under the tutelage of James Beard Award-winner Suzan Gion. Elevating the local food scene, he will not rest until there is a James Beard nomination in Prescott.

Enter Prescott

Life, however, took an unexpected turn when Paul broke his ankle. Unable to navigate the stairs of his 4th-level Pasadena apartment, he moved back to Prescott to live with his parents. It was here, amidst the warm and growing community, that Paul found the perfect place to realize his culinary dreams.

The Birth of Atmesfir

With limited funds, Paul initially opened a gourmet hot dog stand—now unrecognizable due to early challenges with an outdoor smoker fire hazard forcing its closure. The only option was a complete rebuild. Securing the funding to turn lemons into lemonade, Paul and his family created Atmesfir.

A Family Affair

Atmesfir is truly a family-run establishment. Paul's mother, Jo, is a constant presence in the restaurant and works alongside him most nights, greeting guests and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This familial atmosphere extends to the guests, who are treated not just as customers but as part of the Atmesfir family.
